My family and I happened on Agra totally by accident, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The staff was extremely friendly and gave us really good advice about appetizers for the group. Mango lassi, masala chai, lamb curry, chicken makhani, and the peshwari and garlic naan were so fantastic. This is the best indian food I have had in a while. Friendly service, and very quick service. This is my new go-to spot.
Very delicious Indian spot with specialties from the Chettinad region. Good at getting to a high spice level. Service was attentive and great at suggesting recommendations, when asked. A great place to stop before a show at Count Basie. We'd go here again.
This may be the best Indian restaurant in Monmouth County. The shrimp and the Paneer 65 appetizers were superb. The Chicken Makhani, their version of butter chicken, was in a creamy butter sauce perfect for dipping the buttered naan. The owner Nirmala was patient in explaining all of the options. Small, neat but unadorned restaurant. Highly recommend it.
My first time here I love the food atmosphere was very nice and not a lot of people. It was quiet. I’m very content. I will definitely come back if you love Indian food. This is the place to visit.
Probably the best first time Indian food anyone could have. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to or loves Indian food. Went here for my birthday, and really enjoyed it. I would recommend the chicken tikki misala, if you can handle spice well, I’d go 4+ but if you can’t, they do have some nice sweeter/less spicy options which are 1-3 in spice rating. Service was super good, she made us feel welcomed, gave us some nice recommendations, and overall was a genuine nice person. 5/5 experience. Would definitely come again
Absolutely delicious!! The owner uses her home recipes and she cooks with heart and soul. This is my definition of comfort food. Some of the best food I've ever had. Will 100% be back!
DELICIOUS! I really fell in love with this place, this will forever be my go to indian spot for a lifetime! Not only was the food AMAZING! but the lady that works in the restaurant hands down gave me the best hospitality in the world. It felt like my own mother was taking care of me that’s how amazing she was. God bless her and this spot!
Unbelievable food and customer service. Garlic naan is an actual 20/10. Tandoori chicken was a close second, feels authentic and homemade. Absolutely delicious and awesome vibe. Strongly recommend!
AMAZING FOOD! We LOVE Indian food and it’s so hard to find good Indian food south of Edison. Arachi Goat, Whole Tandoori chciken and chili garlic naan. DELICIOUS!
It was so yummy, I am always satisfied when I leave the restaurant. The food is always so good and filling. The buttered shrimp I got before was so delicious and seasoned. The chicken tikka masala is so good and the portions are amazing. Omg and the naan is so good too(especially the garlic naan) and the hostess was so sweet. She made the atmosphere so uplifting, she always engages with the customers, asking if we’re liking the food, giving recommendations on the menu and honestly its just a good vibe in the restaurant in general. I really recommend this place for anyone looking for an Indian restaurant to go to!!!
